Shaunie O'Neal has moved on with a new boyfriend (he's 23 -- ouch!), a new television show ('Basketball Wives' on VH-1), has done interviews revealing Shaq's infidelities and is even doing business with one of Shaq's former mistresses. Shaq, though, is apparently not ready to move on and has allegedly been using their children to threaten Shaunie's new man-child.
According to TMZ, Shaunie's lawyer sent a letter to Shaq's lawyer, claiming that Shaq has been forcing his sons to attack their mom's new boyfriend.
[The letter claims] the basketball star "interrogated" the couple's children to tell him everything they knew about her new man ... "to the point that they felt intimidated and scared of him."
Shaunie also claims Shaq told their 6-year-old son to tell her boyfriend that Shaq "is going to kill him" -- and that Shaq even screamed at the kid and said, "Say it now! My daddy is going to kill you!"
Shaunie's lawyers are demanding Shaq halt "further inappropriate discussions" with their children, which is an alleged violation of the non-disparagement provision of their divorce.
It appears as though Shaq is having a mini-meltdown, regarding his soon-to-be-ex Shaunie. Honestly, it doesn't make much sense to me: If all the rumors are true, Shaq cheated on Shaunie incessantly. It also appears as though Shaunie hung in as long as she possibly could. It had to be both humiliating and painful for her to remain in a marriage -- notwithstanding the money -- that was so mentally and emotionally abusive.
Cheers to Shaunie for moving on with her life.
If anything, Shaq should take Shaunie's turning of the page like a man. Hey, if you can give it, you better be ready to take it.
Here's my question, why do cheaters have such a hard time receiving a dose of their own medicine?

Who cares what these two do. Shaq is wrong for bringing the children in it. If he had something to say to the new man, then he should have said it his self, instead of telling the children to deliver the message. I immagine that it was not very nice reading text messages of other women to your husband. I recalled one saying that she agreed to sleep with Shaq if he would taste her first. Was he concerned about the kids when all of that came out? And as far as she is concerned, I say, what goes around comes around. She was married when she met Shaq. Most guys think that he is the second coming just because he plays ball.Only in this country can people chase some kind of ball and make millions of dollars. You could save lives for a living and the only big bucks you will get on a good day is grattitude, and some days not even that. And before you all go viral and say I'm jealous, I'm not jealous, I'm confused. My point is who cares, they can be sleeping with goats and horses for all I care.

Having to experience this familiar senario, it is pathetic to utilize the children as leverage for information you should be adult enough to discuss with with your divorcee...goes to show all the money in the world cannot buy a man class nor integrity. Be a real man move on with your adultrous life and leave the children out of your immature affairs. Children remember your actions more so than your words, you should be held liable for your abusive behavior with your children. Abusers always fall below the belt when they lose control, do you really want to be remembered this way as oppose to your successful career? Your personal life will overshadow your career, if it's important to you and you love your children become a better father...that is the lasting impression your children will remember, not who their mom is dating.....

Man this is pathetic, what have our world / lives become when all you have to do is sit around and comment on what other people are doing in their lives. None of us are in a position to comment on anyone else, sure we are all concerned about the kids and adults should not use kids in their childish dog fights. Shaq nor his wife are saints, they both did wrong, women will defend her dumb ass and men will support Shaq without a single tread of evidence. Hypocrisy runs deep in America. They both are wrong but this is a free country and God help us all. Why don't we find something better to do with our talents than read these columns and become these people judges, we don't have the right and maybe you should look into your own closet before you judge other people.
