Lynette Taylor, wife of NFL superstar and former 'Dancing with the Stars' contestant Lawrence Taylor, who was recently charged with raping a minor, is undoubtedly sticking with her man all the way. Lynette, who has made her feelings very public, regarding the rape charge, says she has complete faith in her husband and is convinced that he is totally innocent.
Once referred to as one of the "greatest defensive players in NFL history," Taylor was charged this week with a felony count of third-degree rape (in which a person older than age 21 has sexual intercourse with a person who is younger than 17), as well as a misdemeanor count of patronizing a prostitute. The former New York Giants "Superman" and MVP winner is facing up to 5 years in jail if convicted of both crimes. He was released yesterday on a $75,000 bond.
Taylor's third wife told TMZ that all of the rape allegations are "just bullsh*t!" Lynette also staunchly believes that her husband had been "set up." When asked why anyone would want to "set up" the former NFL legend, she explained that Taylor had just been the subject of an documentary entitled "Fame and Fortune," where, she says, the depiction of her husband in the television special was negative: "They made him out to be a monster."
Although Lynette would not divulge more of her reasoning for suspecting Taylor was set up, she implied that the timing of the arrest and the airing of the show might be suspiciously linked.
Unfortunately, brushes with the law is not unfamiliar territory for Taylor. He has had several arrests for drug possession. Taylor was again placed in cuffs only last November 2009, when he was charged with a hit-and-run in Dade County, Fla.
Oddly enough, back in 2003, Taylor was interviewed by then-host Mike Wallace for the CBS-TV news magazine format show "60 Minutes." During his conversation with the host, Taylor admitted, he had hired and sent out prostitutes to his opponents' hotel rooms the night before a game in an attempt to tire them out.

WTH is wrong with his wife? LT admitted that he had sex with this child and all she can say is that "He was set up"?
B*tch, get your head examined. I guess it's perfectly okay with you that your husband screws prostitutes and even worse, a CHILD who was forced into doing it. You need help.
They didn't make a big deal out of it because the girl was of age - she was 20. But if the girl said no, then NO MEANS NO and Rothlisberger raped her. But of course we know the rules are different if you're white versus being black.
It sounds to me that the teenaged girl described as a runaway was forced into prostitution and was by no means a willing prostitute. So, please stop referring to the victim as a postitute.
It is not uncommon, at least it wasn't back in the day (and judging from the article, not even today) for pimps to hang out at bus stations to keep a watch out for unsuspecting naive runaways (victims)to lure into prostitution.
After zoning in on a suspected runaway, pimps first gain his or her confidence by pretending to understand the runaway's mindset.
Next, the diabolical characters (pimps) then go on to pretend to be caring human souls by offering the runaway the comforts of home, that is, security, food, shelter and clothing, all before raping and turning the teen out on the street or in private circles for prostitution.
Fear tactics and physical punishment are often used by the low-life pimp to keep the teen slave in line. Thank God the teen in this story trusted an uncle to let him know what was happening to her. He in turn, helped save her when he called the police.
Nope, I've never experienced prostiutution, but I have always been one to talk to people from all walks of life to get an inside view on different issues.
By the way, thanks to dna, Taylor could not use, "She's a liar! I never touched that girl," for a defense.
