Kimbo Slice Loses, Gets Kicked Out of UFC

It wasn't a pretty site for YouTube backyard brawling sensation Kimbo Slice. His dreams came true when he became an Ultimate Fighting Champion (UFC) fighter last year, but now those dreams have come to an end. On Saturday night, Kimbo Slice fought his Ultimate Fighter cast mate Matt Mitrione in Montreal as part of UFC 113 and was soundly defeated in the second round by technical knockout.
Slice started out decently enough, with impressive takedowns and body slams against Mitrione, but he got tired very quickly. Mitrone wore him down in the second round with a variety of holds and swift kicks before finally defeating him after wailing on his head while sitting on top of him. This was Kimbo's first Pay-Per-View fight, but his second official UFC fight. In his first fight, he defeated Houston Alexander by decision.
In a post-fight interview, UFC Prez Dana White announced that Kimbo Slice was finished as a UFC fighter. White was respectful in his announcement and said he was glad he gave Slice a chance to compete, but, ultimately, Slice was old and his skills weren't up to par on a UFC level. White did leave the door open for Slice to be able to fight again in the UFC, but that's highly unlikely. Check out the fight and White's announcement:
