Reporter Win McMurry
(pictured below) made a mistake that won't be quickly forgotten. During a recent appearance on the Golf Channel, McMurry didn't realize that Tiger Woods had a "bulging disc" in his back that kept him off the golf course. Instead, she mentioned something else on his body that might bulge:

"[Woods] says he's been playing with a bad neck for about a month and thinks it could be a bulging d--k," McMurry said.
McMurry corrected herself immediately and let the audience know that the "disc is in his upper back" not the other part of his body. Her mistake aired shortly after Woods withdrew from the Players Championship golf tournament due to pain that he was feeling.

The Golf Channel and McMurry have declined to comment on the matter, but the Internet has not remained silent. The Web has been buzzing all day about the incident. Deadspin.com referred to the clip as "a Freudian moment from one Golf Channel reporter." It's going to be tough for the network and McMurry to live this one down.

win mcmurryMcMurry wasn't the only one who made a dirty innuendo about Tiger's early exit from the tournament. Paul Azinger, captain of the 2008 USA Ryder Cup golf team, sent out a quick note on Twitter asking, "Could this have been prevented with a good Swedish massage?" Woods' most recent withdrawal may cost him the No.1 world ranking for the first time in years. Normally a staple at the top of the rankings, Woods may soon be replaced by Phil Mickelson, who has played well during Tiger's recent decline.
