Update: 5/11/10 - 10:52 pm - Siohvaughn Wade turns herself in to police
Siohvaughn Wade, the estranged wife of NBA star Dwayne Wade, is being pursued by police, according to TMZ. They are seeking her out after she missed a mandatory hearing in Chicago involving her divorce with Wade. The judge had already threatened Siohvaughn with a body-attachment order if she failed to show up for another hearing. Siohvaughn has been in the news quite a bit lately after she decided to sue actress Gabrielle Union for acting inappropriately in front of her children.
Siohvaughn claims that Union and her husband didn't show proper discretion in front of their children, inflicting emotional distress. The lawsuit was filed in the middle of a nasty divorce battle between the two. The new order from the judge means that Siohvaughn is going to be taken in to custody by police and delivered to the court.
Sadly enough, the divorce has been one of the leading sensational headlines of this month and the last one. What makes this situation worse is that underneath the drama, there is very real pain and a family broken apart. Let's be real: Love makes people insane, and we often make fools out of ourselves when being put through the struggles of a difficult breakup. Right now, both Wade and his ex-wife are looking pretty silly.
Without laying blame on either Dwayne or Siohvaughn for this unfortunate situation, I can only imagine that Siohvaughn's odd behavior is related to the challenges of trying to keep a husband who is faced with more temptations than any young man can handle. It's hard enough to keep a family together without having to compete with women like Gabrielle Union. But then again, I don't know the details of their relationship, so my comments can only go so far. I sincerely wish this couple the best.

Bottom line. If your mate no longer wants you. Pray on it and move on. Sisters don't use your children to hold a man. I don't know the details.I do know. If a person say they no longer want to be with you. Love yourself enough to move on. Be the best mother you can be. Bashing the other women isn't going to make any positive changes in ones life. Baby girl need to focus on her boys. She will have a big pay day. So babygirl need to concetrate on being a good person for her self and the boys. Just my opinion. Love yourself and move on. Jody

I AGREE WITH YOU. SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO JUST LET IT GO. IF SIOHVAUGH REALLY FEELS THAT HER AND DWAYNE SHOULD BE TOGETHER THEN SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO LET THE PERSON GO, HE WILL THEN BE ABLE TO SEE THAT THE GRASS IS NOT GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE. DWAYNE WAS WITH HIS WIFE SINCE THE AGE OF 15 THAT IS A VERY LONG TIME.
SIOHVAUGH REALLY NEEDS TO MOVE ON. IT'S SAD THAT SHE DID NOT SEE THIS COMING AND DID NOT PREPARE HERSELF WELL FOR THIS DAY.
YOU CAN'T MAKE SOMEONE BE WITH YOU WHEN THEY DON'T WANT YOU.

Agree whole heartly Jody, I've had some comments about this in recent past but I must admit what you've said is the absolute bottom line. I'm a fan of Dwyane Wade and I hate to see any marriage fall apart whether it's celebritory or not. But you're so right, Siohvaughn should move on. I can only imagine that this break up hurts like hell because they've been together for so long but life also goes on as well. I still say to Gabby, "Sister I hope its worth it"!!! Cause Jody you know how celebrities do, they're together now but by this time next year both parties will be like Jay-Z says "On TO THE NEXT ONE"!!! Thanks for your comment I can tell you're a strong woman!!

I agree with you. She needs to get a grip now and STOP the madiness! Her job is to be the best mother to her boys. The divorce will provide for she and the boys material needs. There are plenty of women who have gone through a divorce and have had to live on the streets or shelter. So she could be in far worse situation.

she goes to jail over a contempt charge, which means that if a man is ordered to pay child support but does not..that is a contempt of a judges order! we as blacks need to wake-up and read a lot more or they will kepp making laws that we never hear of!for everyone of us that is not working ..we should be doing 8 hours at the local library.

I work in the legal field and there is nothing more frustrating than when a party does not show up (unless there is a documented emergency). When the police find her, she'll do a couple of hours in
jail, at best. It is to remind people that it's not voluntary whereyou can decide IF you want to show up...it's a court hearing.

Amen!

Once a party or parties decides to petition the court for some type of relief but then fails to appear for said hearings, it is a waste of resources, time, and money. If she's been making all these accusations to the media, you'd think once her court date arrived she'd be there early!
