Quinton "Rampage" Jackson recently lost his anticipated fight against Rashad Evans last month, but that's not deterring him from doing what he needs to do to promote the upcoming "A-Team" film. Jackson plays "B.A. Baracus," the part made iconic by Mr. T during the '80s television show. But in an interview with the L.A. Times, Jackson may have ruffled some feathers with his comments regarding acting:
"Acting is kind of gay," Jackson told the L.A. Times. "It makes you soft. You got all these people combing your hair and putting a coat over your shoulders when you're cold. I don't want a coat over my shoulders! I'm a tough-ass [individual]!
"Vancouver strikes me as a San Francisco–kind of place," he continued. "And I don't want [individuals] getting ideas about me. I feel in my heart I'm the toughest [individual] on the planet. And I don't want nothing changing my train of thought. If you don't believe that when we step inside the octagon, it shows."
The response from the public, of course, was to label him as homophobic, anti-gay and a number of other names. Jackson was surprised by all the pushback, so he took to his personal blog to provide some clarity and justify his language:
"Let me teach you a little something about me cause I know y'all don't really know me," Jackson writes on his blog. "I am a black man from Memphis, Tennessee, who grew up in the South, where I faced discrimination my whole life. I know very well how it feels for someone to judge you for something you have no control over so having gone through that I know how it feels.
"I took a vow that I didn't even have to say that I would never discriminate against anybody for anything other that how they treat me or others around them," he continued. "So not only DO I NOT HATE gay people, I actually accept them for who and what they are. They always seem happy and most of them I meet are very kind and nice individuals. Yes, and like most straight guys, I joke around with the whole gay thing and I see it as comedy, not saying that's right or wrong but I don't do it out of hate. I don't hate fat girls, but I make fun of them too."
Jackson continues to explain the circumstances around the interview, saying he didn't even know it was an interview and that everything said was in jest, fitting with his personality.
Let's hope it comes across better on the movie screen.
The "A-Team" hits theaters on June 11th.

The man spoke his peace and hollywood want to say he is a homophobic? GET OUT OF HERE! leave him alone Peace Quinton LOL
I am just waiting for those who don't believe homosexuality is wrong to come in the church and preach that christians are homophoic and to say that homosexuality is right they have their church that they go to anyway headed by Gene R the "apololic church".
I am just waiting for that day, that will be the day they get chased out, them and their free love God loves the sinner and hates the sin, he hates the sin alright all sin, that is why you read everywhere in the bible in the old and new testament that their is reference to sodom & gomorrah.
Whenever somebody says a way of life is wrong they come with you must be a homophobic crap, hollywood is living day cease pit, san francisco is a cease pit the modern day sodom & gomorrah people don't even blink an eye when they see two men and two women together such is the scale of what is wrong is right and what is right is wrong.

If anyone believes they were born gay is truly confused and most likely using it as an excuse to continue with their lifestyle. Lev 18:22 "And you must not lie down with a male the same as you lie down with a woman. It is a detestable thing." Nothing in the bible says that is anything other than a choice made by whomever. So, if you feel uncomfortable or disrespected by the comment "that's gay" then you have bigger issues to deal with. Count yourself lucky we are not held under the "old laws." If we were, 85% of todays population would have been put to death, myself included. Seek the TRUTH before it's too late.

@silly Bible 'quoters'
Please re-vist and reread Sodom and Gomorrah as you know now of what you speak;
Side thought: if Adam and Eve were the only two people on Earth, and they had two sons, then how did the world populate? Oh, that's right - straight incestual relationships. Keep quoting the Bible, then.

Go back and read Genesis...as a neccessity Cain took his sister as his mate. The issue/topic was about being gay/homophobic. I don't care what you do or the choices you make in life. It's the lame ass excuses people think up to validate their lifestyle. The only thing that has changed over time is technology. Humans as a whole has not changed. In over 6,000 years we are still dealing with the same drama and bs...
