Ron Artest Thanks Psychiatrist After Lakers Game 7 Win

Usually after a huge win in a huge game like Game 7 of the NBA Championship Finals, players will give thanks to God, their teammates and their fans. But when it comes to Ron Artest, it's a whole different story.

After the Lakers defeated the Celtics to become back-to-back champions, Artest first thanked his "hood" - which would be Queensbridge, N.Y. - then his wife, family and kids before giving a huge shout out to his psychiatrist.

"She really helped me relax a lot," he said in the post-game interview. "Thank you so much, it's so difficult to play, there's so much pressure in the playoffs. She helped me relax, I thank you so much."

After that he promoted his new single, "Champion," which he said he was going to drop today. Could we have asked for a better post-game interview? Not only did Artest embrace his issues by shouting out his psychiatrist, he then remembered to do the rapper thing by telling folks to look out for his new single. Classic!
