Tiki Barber can't seem to stay out of the papers these days. Since he
traded in his wife Ginny of eleven years for a younger model, life hasn't been a crystal stair for the former gridiron great.
Barber and Ginny were in court on Thursday trying to iron out the financial particulars of their impending divorce. The couple was even spotted tee-heeing outside the courtroom but once inside the judicial chambers, the heat was on.
An unnamed source spilled the beans on Barber's divorce game plan to the New York Post. It seems that he is playing hardball when it comes to giving his estranged wife the support she needs in order to properly care for their four children. Ginny gave birth to twins only three weeks ago.
Barber left Ginny when she was eight months pregnant and took up with 23-year-old, blond, former NBC-TV intern,Traci Johnson.
"Tiki is being cheap and not offering her anything near the sum she needs for her and their children," the source told the New York Post.
After all of the legal parties pow-wowed, no settlements were reached. "Nothing was agreed in court. They are still arguing over money," the source told the daily, adding that Ginny was "furious" about how warmly her runaway husband treated her when he saw reporters and photographers nearby.
It's back to the drawing board for the feuding pair until they can come to some sort of a mutual agreement.

Wow... you actually support a man who abandons his kids? It doesn't matter that she didn't suit up to play football, she supported him in his career, and had his kids.
I hope your daughter never marries a professional athelete and 'loses her place'...of course THAT wouldn't bother you either huh....after all, HE was he one playing right?

[Look, look, look....he should play hardball. Our American system is historically pro-wife, so I support him 100%. Now, abandonment, you say he abandoned his children. Tell me, what is your excuse when a wife leaves her husband and takes the children, do you think she abandoned her husband and made her chidlren fatherless in the home? Tiki has a right to live and upgrade like wives who leave their husbands and take the children. If wifey can leave at anytime, guess what? Hubby can to. I tell you what let's make a law forbidding any spouse from leaving the married and force them to stay together no matter what even if they are unhappy. Isn't this what you want Tiki forced into? You did condenm him for leaving his wife and children--so you must want this type of law in America--oh, that's right, you only want it against men.

You sound like a fool. He has to give child support to the children that he fathered. He married this woman and said he was going to be there but has since left. How in the world do you leave an eight month pregnant woman, especially a woman you pledged your love to. You have issues. You'd probably do the same dumb thing. Oh, guess what the judge will eventually rule in her favor. He is an adulterer and he has to take care of her and the kids in the manner that they have becom accustomed to living. @ John... he can leave...everyday ALL day, you just gotta pay that's all. If the situation was reversed and the woman was the pro athlete, and she wanted to "up grade"....then go, but you gotta pay!
Know the rules, read the handbook. I have been married 18yrs, have 3 kids and a grandchild...if hubby feels like he wants to leave...GO, I don't want anybody who don't want me...BUT YOU GOTTA PAY.
Alimony and child support. I hope the 'upgrade' like being #6 because the family he left will get their cut first, that's #'s 1 - 4...then he has to pay his own bills, which make him #5..THEN he can take care of her.
As for me...I'm a vain biotch, I HAVE to be #1, I don't do back burners. If I can't be on the front burner, I don't wanna be on the stove.
Pay now or pay later....either way...YOU GOTTA PAY!

He is not a man. That is the problem our country has now we will not stand for family. God will hold him accountable for his unholy behavior. NBC should fire him and the girl for there behavior. He will get his. God is watching him and his actions.

Tiki is a sorry ass S-O-B. Ginny should take him to the woodshed. Those children deserve the best that life has to offer for the next 25 yrs at his expense. He may have run through the line and gotten hit by linebackers, etc, but she had to put up with his shit at home and typical football brutishness away from the cameras. A real man keeps his Vows and a lifetime committment is done by his word not a contract. However where the marriage contract is broken, the offending party should be raked through the coals and then burn in hell! I've seen too many children suffering from this kind of impetous infedelity.
