Tiki Barber can't seem to stay out of the papers these days. Since he
traded in his wife Ginny of eleven years for a younger model, life hasn't been a crystal stair for the former gridiron great.
Barber and Ginny were in court on Thursday trying to iron out the financial particulars of their impending divorce. The couple was even spotted tee-heeing outside the courtroom but once inside the judicial chambers, the heat was on.
An unnamed source spilled the beans on Barber's divorce game plan to the New York Post. It seems that he is playing hardball when it comes to giving his estranged wife the support she needs in order to properly care for their four children. Ginny gave birth to twins only three weeks ago.
Barber left Ginny when she was eight months pregnant and took up with 23-year-old, blond, former NBC-TV intern,Traci Johnson.
"Tiki is being cheap and not offering her anything near the sum she needs for her and their children," the source told the New York Post.
After all of the legal parties pow-wowed, no settlements were reached. "Nothing was agreed in court. They are still arguing over money," the source told the daily, adding that Ginny was "furious" about how warmly her runaway husband treated her when he saw reporters and photographers nearby.
It's back to the drawing board for the feuding pair until they can come to some sort of a mutual agreement.

Tiki and Genny should both support the kids. If she doesn't have a job, then now is the time to get one, since she is no longer going to be married. I don't understand why when people get a divorce they don't think their life should change? Of course he should give a fair share to take care of the kids, but it should be in conjunction with her providing as well. Just because the kids live with the woman that should not relieve them of having to be responsible for some kind of monetary support. Total up the expenses for the kids and split it in half between both parents and call it a day. For as long as men have been in charge, I don't know why they have not changed these divorce laws. As far as I'm concerned when you get a divorce, that should be it, end of the gravy train for whoever was sitting on their butt. The kids should go to the parent who can take care of them period.
