It seems as if
Michael Vick can't catch a break. The
NFL and the
Philadelphia Eagles are investigating a shooting that took place Friday morning outside a nightclub in Virginia Beach, where Vick was hosting a birthday party.
Many speculated that Vick was at the scene of the crime, but according to media and police reports, the quarterback was not involved or present when the shooting took place at 2 a.m. Vick's lawyer,
Larry Woodward, confirmed the information on Friday.Several news outlets identified the shooting victim as
Quanis Phillips, one of the co-defendants in the federal dogfighting case that landed Vick an 18-month federal prison sentence.
Phillips was treated and released at a hospital.
Since his release from prison, Vick has remained apologetic about his involvement with the dogfighting case, though many have been unable to forgive him. The fact that he has served his time and regularly talks to young people about the consequences of his actions is often overlooked.
Vick's birthday party was at
Guadalajara restaurant and was open to the public with an admission charge of $50.
Considering that Vick is already skating on thin ice with NFL Commissioner
Roger Goodell, who told Vick his "margin for error is extremely limited," he probably should only host private parties.
What do you think? Should Vick be more careful and limit his exposure to places or people that may get him in trouble or should he do as he pleases since he has served his time?

It only show how self-destructive black people are.
It's simple. Choose a career and a wealthy path, OR Choose the prison. Some black folks will choose the latter.
I don't know why I will work my way out of the four walls of the project into a life of luxury and all I want to do is return to the same life.

I agree why would Vick's want to host a party in the VA area for the public... I mean Vick I love this brother and I hope he open his eyes to the black community unfortunately we have a lot of sick folks running around like fools you must cut loose and friends that have some values and place value on life
