As if LeBron James doesn't have other stuff he needs to be doing, like deciding where he's going to play next season, he's finally launched a Twitter account. Do you care? Apparently a lot of fans do. In just 12 hours, James amassed a following of more than 197,000 followers."Hello World, the Real King James is in the Building 'Finally'," wrote James on his Twitter page. "My Brother @oneandonlycp3 gas'd me up to jump on board so I'm here. Haaaa."
"The 'brother' that James says talked him in to opening an account is New Orleans Hornets point guard Chris Paul, whose page has just over 155,000 followers.
"Couldn't convince him to tell me which team he's goin to but convinced him to join twitter," Paul wrote on his page. "My brother from another mother @KINGJAMES."

Today, James has more than 220,000 followers and the number is expected to grow, especially with his free agency announcement coming up on Thursday. James will be joining ESPN on Thursday night for a one-hour special, and afterward he will announce what team he's signing to. James' crew will also be giving proceeds from the televised broadcast to the Boys & Girls Club.
Cleveland is still suspected to be the leading candidate, but with Amare Stoudemire signing to the New York Knicks and Chris Bosh announcing he's joining Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat, the situation has changed. The Chicago Bulls and New Jersey Nets are also teams that have been seeking some King James love. Check out the ESPN report on James' Thursday night announcement:
