Unnamed sources in law enforcement are saying that the body of former
Atlanta Hawks player
Lorenzen Wright (pictured) was found in the woods in Memphis. Wright was scheduled to drive back to Atlanta in July with his children, when he disappeared in the middle of the night.
The 34-year-old Wright was last seen at 2 a.m. on July 19th. He was leaving his ex-wife's home at the time.
Wright was a star at
The University of Memphis before being drafted number 7 in the 1996 NBA draft. He was selected by the
L.A. Clippers but spent a large part of his career playing for the Hawks.
Last season, Wright didn't play, because he wasn't picked up by any NBA team. He was reportedly having serious financial problems: His $1.3 million dollar home in Tennessee was repossessed in May and his $1.1 million dollar home in Atlanta was also repossessed in January. There is no indication as to whether the financial problems played a role in his disappearance and death.

Sounds like a drug deal gone bad. These black ballers are just stupid and blow their money on foolishness and white women. Somethings wrong with black men mentality because you hear these stories time and time again.Don't trust black financial advisers with that bother will take care of their money not the white man. We try to make allowances for dumb brothers, but. this must end. There are too many instances, too many examples of frivolity, wastefulness, short - sightedness, extravagance and out right stupidity among black athletes, concerning finances.
Pippen,the guy from the Heat,and now, Lorenzo (who liked to spend so).
This is not quantum physics, folks. You're not that good, you may not play for long, anything can happen, so....DON'T SPEND ALL YOUR MONEY!!
Live like there IS a tomorrow. Spend some and save the rest. Live comfortably, not extravagantly.
