Earl Watson filed for divorce, then rescinded his decision, after he chose to work out his marital differences with actress-wife
Jennifer Freeman, whom he accused of savagely attacking him late one night.
TMZ reports that according to court documents, the couple's troubles began on August 1st, when Freeman received a text message at 11:00 p.m.
Watson became suspicious and decided to check his wife's cell phone. Freeman then became so angry with the invasion of privacy that she struck Watson in the face twice with an open hand.
Watson then went on to testify that Freeman, who played "Claire" on the now defunct sitcom "My Wife and Kids," managed to bite in to his wrist like a rabid dog and would not let go until she drew blood. Once she allegedly let go of his bleeding wrist, she chomped on to his chest, and again, bit until blood spewed.
Watson also claims that the Mother of his 10-month-old child was not quite done with him. According to Watson, his wife picked up an iron and tried to strike him with it, but somehow, he managed to knock it out of her hands.
The apparently discombobulated baller filed for divorce soon after the horrific events occurred.
There is a twist in this story, though. According to TMZ, Watson has had a change of heart: Watson's lawyer, William Briggs, told the celeb gossip website that his client plans on withdrawing the divorce petition and that he and Freeman have actually reconciled. "The couple has reconciled their differences and plans to make their marriage work," Briggs stated.
Watson better not cross her again.

Did she not know that once you are married that there is no such thing as an invasion of privacy. Her reactions indicate that she had something to hide that she did not want him to know about. Guilty is as guilty does

First of all, if his wife battered him like he alleges, then she is in some serious need of Anger Management Classes. Domestic abuse is not appropriate behavior be you the man or the woman who does it! What I wonder is this: Has she been known for abusing any other men in her life? Did she come from an abusive home? If she did, by no means does this make it right. Now, the main "thing" is what IS the other side of the story? I have learned that there are at least 3 sides to a story:His side. Her side. And another side. If he had gotten another woman pregant, then he was wrong for messing with a woman other than his wife. And I certainly hope that the mother of the other child will take him to court and make him pay child support. Ok, they say that they have reconciled their differences, but is he even SURE that is what he wants to do? Aftealll, she beat him up and then tried to go upside his head with an iron which could have killed him. I'd be very weary and leary and somewhat afraid of a person who exhibits this kind of behavior.

This is going a bit too far. If a woman ever bites me and it's not in the act of love making, I'd have to go to jail. This is 2010. NOBODY is supposed to be being violent against anybody else, be it male or female.
