According to the former Mrs. Wright, Lorenzen left her home at 10:30 PM on July 18. He allegedly returned shortly thereafter with drugs and money. She claims that she then heard him mention on the phone that he was going to "flip something for $110,000." That is when he left the house with an unidentified person before he was killed.
Wright's body was found on July 28 in the woods. He had been missing for 10 days before being found. There have been no arrests and there are no suspects in the investigation.
Whether or not Lorenzen Wright decided to become a drug dealer before he died is not yet proven or unproven. Given that his ex-wife Sherra has drawn suspicion due to her own behavior, the public is a long way from being able to create many definitive conclusions about exactly how Lorenzen Wright actually died.
The suspicion is very strong that Wright may have kept the company of Memphis drug dealers. In FBI testimony, it was determined that Wright had sold one of his vehicles to a known drug dealer and allowed the dealer to keep the car in Wright's name. Therefore, the associations Wright maintained shortly before his death might have been less than desirable.
What is also sad is that it appears that Wright may have made some difficult choices due to his challenging financial situation. He was nearly broke, and had two homes foreclosed earlier this year. This is not an ideal situation for a man being asked to pay $26,000 per month in child support. So, no matter how you slice it or dice it, Lorenzen Wright's life had become quite complicated before his death, and the murder was a culmination of the chaos that had been created around him.

Memphis newspapers have reported that Wright was scheduled to return home to ATL on July 19th with his six (6) children, the two (2) youngest ones being four years old. Who buys $110,000 worth of drugs in one transaction? If this story is true then Wright wasn't a drug dealer per se, he was a broker or a middle man unless he was planning to take the drugs back to ATL. So if this story is true then the killers are the ones who were to buy the drugs instead of the ones who supplied the drugs. If this is so then the police will probably be a day late and a dollar short because not only are they looking for a thief and a killer, the drug supplier is looking for them too. If the supplier finds them first then no one will be going to jail in this case for those dealers will suffer a Jimmy Hoffa fate.

SEE THATS THE FIRST THING THEY WOULD LOVE TO ACCUSE A BLACK MAN WITH SO THEY CAN CLOSE THE CASE. ONE THING WE CAN BE SURE OF GOD KNOWS TRUTH AND ONE DAY IT WILL BE REVEALED. GOD HELPS MANKIND
