Just because
Floyd Mayweather came out with an "apology" for his racist rant toward Manny Pacquiao doesn't mean the outrage is over. The
National Federation of Filipino American Associations (NaFFAA), a non-profit organization that promotes the active participation of Filipino Americans in civic and national affairs, released a statement condemning Mayweather for his comments and called upon the boxing world and the
NAACP to do the same:
"We are outraged by Mayweather's racially offensive remarks,"
Greg Macabenta, the NaFFAA's national chairman,
said in a statement to ESPN. "This disgusting diatribe against Pacquiao is a racial slur against all Filipinos and Filipino Americans and an embarrassment not only to the boxing community, but to all Americans. Talking trash may be common between boxing rivals, but Mayweather's racially laced profanities brazenly crossed the line of decency and respectability. Pacquiao, on the other hand, has taken the high road and acted like the gentleman that he is.
"We call on National Boxing Association and state athletic commissions to censure Mayweather for behavior that is both abhorrent and demeaning to boxing fans and to the whole world of sports. We also call on the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People to reprimand the boxing star for insulting people of color. We are further asking all civil rights organizations to stand in solidarity with us in denouncing this racist and homophobic rant. Mayweather's apology is unacceptable and he must be made accountable for his damaging statements.
"At a time when immigrant communities are being viewed with increasing suspicion and mistrust, Mayweather's cruel, abusive and hurtful remarks can only stoke more hostility, derision and resentment against individuals who look foreign by virtue of their looks, their size or the sound of their names. Coming from a boxing celebrity with millions of fans around the world, Mayweather's shameless and reckless conduct unfairly paints an entire racial and ethnic group with a broad brush and seriously undermines America's core values of inclusivity and racial tolerance."
Mayweather's camp hasn't responded and will most likely remain quiet for the time being, but clearly Mayweather has gone too far and he will have to pay for his actions.

This crimigant latino author is playing typcial SELFSERVING con game which these particular crimigrants (theres many euro and asian crimigrants in US too thru student visas) specialize. They're the anchor-baby, fake id, tax dodging, freeloaders so the game with this article is to couch this filipino organization's complaint as legit (it's not legit because Mayweather apologized immediately) and to disparage Mayweather with the "Paquaio takes high road and is a gentleman".
Well, the truth is these latino/hispanic crimigrants and the worst anti-black bigots out here and they attempt to add legitimacy to their criminal, borderjumping, smuggling ways by attaching themselves to the historic, honorable and wholly legitimate African American saga (which continues and is really in the early stages) by drawing (incorrect, ahistorical) equivalence.
So when LaRaza issues a complaint about me, for example, this author will wag his finger at me and insult me with namecalling (althewhile denying LaRaza is itself a racist organization advocating the overthrow of the USA). Talk about cajones - thank goodness he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer because I'll expose this ploy eveytime they try it.
In conclusion, this is nothing but a latino writing a knowingly-false story (where's the apology?) hoping he can later use it to justify his demographics con game of adding legitimacy to their criminality - by using black people.
It's a lie and don't forget who controls this site - it's AOL. What's couched as black interest is actually anti-black interest.
Lastly, hey crimigrant - you're a liar.

Michael, there are so many things wrong with your post that it makes you look very angry about things you are not very sure of. 1st Filipino's are Pacific Islanders not latino. Now they were invaded by Spain so that does account for some of their names. 2nd Filipino are normally and mostly here legally. Most of the one's I know (and that is a lot of them)fought very hard to get here the right way and are just as angry as anyone with the "Latino" push to no follow the rules of becoming an American the proper way. And Finally the Filipino community are just that a "Community"!! They are very supportive of one another and are very loyal to FAMILY!! So all I can say for Mayweather and the NAACP is, best watch your back!!! They are no JOKE, if you had any idea of the conditions that these peepz lived in while in the philipines. No running water, no plumbing and gorilla warfare was a constant!! If you think that the naffaa is anything like laraza you are very wrong! I will be watching this situation as I would advise you to do, and see what comes out of this. Am I filipino, no. White Irish and loving it, however my wife is a 1st generation filipino in her family, born here. So being around these people have given me a lot of insight into their lives and way of thinking!! If you research it you will find most filipino communities in the US are near Navy Bases, cause that is how most of the men came here, most of the women came here as nurses. But my point is they are Not Anchor babies, tax dodgers or freeloaders by any stretch of the imagination! They are very hard working, noise to the grindstone type people. You normally don't hear a peep out of them, that is until you tick them off with some thing big and let me tell you, Manny Pacquiao is HUGE in the filipino community here and back in the island!! Mayweather put his foot in it!!!

Although you're correct, Spain was the Phillipine colonial power and filipinos can have latino-last names, I assumed the AUTHOR to be latino/hispanic. But, you're right - the author might be filipino but that isn't confirmed, is it?
Yes, you misread me and being angry is no crime anyways. Ever hear of righteous anger? Is righteous anger a problem for you?
My point about latinos/hispanics (I know the differing history but they all speak spanish) stays but the same can be said of filipinos. I'm aware of the history and how the US annexed them after defeating Spain the Spanish/American war of 1898. Black soldiers helped free those filipinos from Spanish control and have never received a thank you - just like the latino crimigrants who attempt to co-opt the unique African American story for their own benefit (and don't have decency to thank black people). These latinos and filipinos would even be on US soil if not for the work of black people fighting the US' 400 yo anti-black, white supremast capitalist system and all it's subsystems (corp, legal, media, white custom etc.).
Lastly, Irish guy - what makes you think I need to 'look out' for filipinos? What the hell are filipinos gonna do to me (or any black people)? You misread my history and I can assure you, I'm not motivated by fear. We all got to die someday and all bleed - not just me.
So irish guy - you're the one that's wrong. If it wasn't for the work black people did in this nation up to 1846 (potato famine), you irish folk might not even exist because all of europe hated you and stood by and watched as England tried to starve you all to death. And Oliver Cromwell enslaved, yes enslaved via the TransAtlantic Slave trade 500,000 Irish men and women as punishment for an uprising in the 17th century. Of course that number doesn't compare to the appx 100MM Africans taken from the continent in the TAST, in which, irish people were major workers and even the people who coined the nslur. These irish couldn't pronounce niggard because of their heavy accent and pronounced it nslur - and it's stuck.
Let me tell you something - learn to read with comprehension b4 you question my posts.

Lastly, it's common knowledge that european men go to Southeast Asian countries, including the Phillipines because there's a ready and willing, large number of little boys being pimped out by there parents - for these european mens' sodomy pleasures. It's been going on for decades - get hip.
So b4 you come on here selling the "asians are really great people" line, I suggested you take a closer look at what's really going on in Asia.

Wow Michael I don't know if I should just laugh at your rant or feel bad for you??
1)I never said "YOU" should look out for the NaFFAA, I said the NAACP and Mayweather should!
And if you want to be filled with anger, then be my guest! It has not effect on me,I never said anything about it one way or another, simply mad an observation. Now about your ranting about how "Black soldiers helped free those filipinos from Spanish control and have never received a thank you ", so there were only Black soldiers there?? And when you are in the military you are there to perform a duty, it is done with out expecting any THANKS! But you seem to come across like they Owed YOU a Thanks??? You were not there so you deserve NOTHING!! And as far as my heritage, I am well aware of the history. Oh and BTW your constant "Irish guy" reference does not bother me at all. I am an American who has Irish heritage, but American 1st!! Trying to take diggs at me in that manner don't bother me, and the funnier part was how you(out of a discussion about 2 fighters) that you manage to try and nail the Irish with coming up with the racial slur "nigger" OH PLEASE, again that was the Spanish!! But if it makes you feel better or backs up your rant, go for it! And the only people that helped the Irish survive and prosper in the US was the Irish! You try and slam them about how Oliver Cromwell sold them into slavery, yet the kings or tribal leaders of Africa did the same thing to their own race, so what's your point????
I could continue with this tit for tat with you but what is that going to do?? Nothing!
But one thing I do want to address that does actually relate to this article(unlike most of your rant), you say that due to some story you read on the web(I'm sure) about european men going to asia, including the filipines, to get kids that their parents pimp out, AND?? So because of some sick people in a entire country that means ALL of the people are that way?? That is so ignorant that it speaks for itself! The difference between you and I michael is I speak from actual experience you speak from things you read!! So how most this fit in with the article I will never figure out?? But my originial point is and always will be, the filipino's DO stick together and Mr Mayweather is going to come to know that very soon!!!

It was not the Spanish who do have the word negro for black. How the heck does nslur "sound" like negro? It does not.
Although the Spanish were African-slavers b4 English, French, Dutch etc. - they use the word negres (pronouned ne-grays) for blacks an it was the English word niggard that the Irish slave ship workers pronounced nslur. See irish guy - I know my history. I wouldn't expect you to know my history (and you don't).
Now to summarize - I did not overreact. You accused me of saying Paquaio is spanish when I didn't say that. I was talking about the author. You then "warned" me about filipinos and I responded that was ridiculous. I have no worries about filipinos or anyone else for that matter. Mayweather apologized and he's just doing a "marketing job" (although I would have advised him to stay away from yellow this and yellow that). It worked for him too cause Paquaio will get pressure from the filipino community to fight Mayweather to "teach him a lesson".
Read my response slowly a second time. I was just reminding you Irish people on here discussing Africans and African Americans - that you have a history and those filipinos do to. Yalls hands are no cleaner than black people's.

See Michael that is what I am talking about. Your last paragraph says " I was just reminding you Irish people on here discussing Africans and African Americans - that you have a history and those filipinos do to. Yalls hands are no cleaner than black people's."
1) I never said anything negative, or make any kind of blanket statement about African-Americans on my original post.
I did mention the slave trading issue of African's but that again was no dig on an Entire race, and only made the statement after you felt you had to "call me out" on some BS that had nothing to with the post.
And the fact that you continued to refer to me as "Irish Guy" goes to show who is the one that see's people by their race or heritage??? While the entire time I continued to just call you by your name! I don't group anyone into some mass group. Sure your heritage is part of who you are but it certainly does not define a person by any means!! A person is responsible for their own actions and decisions and that has nothing to do with heritage, that is a personal choice!! Hope you get over viewing peepz like you do one day, you may find things are not as Evil as you seem to believe they are!!!

Most of the stuff he said was just trash talking that many athletics do. But he went to far with statements like "all he can do is cook me some rice and sushi" or "we're going to cook that little yellow chump". That's racist and inexcusable. Mayweather is a dumbazz. He's the worst kind of dumbazz. He's a dumbazz with money. In a few years we'll be reading about how Mayweather is broke and lost all of his millions.
