Mike Tyson Boxing Ambassador to China?

Mike Tyson Boxing Ambassador to ChinaIt's pretty definite that Mike Tyson will no longer be stepping in to a boxing ring, so he's got to find new ways to make money- ya know, since a lot of his fortune he made while he was boxing is pretty much non-existent. He's been acting, making reality shows and putting together documentaries with hopes of making a respectable living.

Now he's hoping to be China's ambassador to the boxing world ... even though he really has no idea what that means:
"I didn't even know what an ambassador really was," he told the Associated Press. "When I think of ambassadors, I think of living off government money and jet-setting with girlfriends."
There isn't a government paying at the moment, but there is a Chinese company paying him to fly out to the country in December to help scout boxers for a series of matches in Tianjin.

Apparently Tyson didn't know this tidbit of info but is looking forward to heading east.

"I'm just as clueless as you," Tyson said when asked what he'll be doing while in the country. "But I'm an ambassador so I should have some say."
But he did have some advice for Chinese folk who may have some beef with Japanese folk:
"Here's what you do: You go looking for a Chinese fighter who will beat the evil Japanese guy and get revenge," he says. "That will sell."
