Tracy McGrady believes there is a fundamental problem with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.
"When they're on the court together," McGrady says, "they're terrible."
McGrady isn't saying LeBron and Wade are terrible as individual players but rather that the chemistry between the two isn't good.
"Him and D-Wade don't complement each other," McGrady said. "They're somewhat the same type of players, 'Bron and D-Wade. If you look at Ray Allen and Paul Pierce, (Allen's a) traditional shooting guard. Ray Allen, he doesn't need the ball. And Paul Pierce is a small forward. You add Kevin Garnett...
"(LeBron and Wade), they're not like that. Both of those guys need the ball and they don't shoot the ball like Ray Allen. That's why they're having trouble scoring in the halfcourt because they can't get a rhythm, because one of them is dominating the ball. That guy might be getting off, but the other guy (isn't).
"That's why when they're on the court together, they're terrible. They're rhythm players that need the ball. I'm like that. I can't stand out there and catch and shoot. I've never been a guy that sits out there waiting for the ball to come to me."
McGrady feels that if James had made up his mind to leave Cleveland he would have been better off in Chicago with Derrick Rose as his running mate.
"It was a better decision, a better place for him," said McGrady, who scored a season-high 13 points off the bench for the Pistons Sunday but was 0-for-3 after intermission. "You can't just go somewhere and have that type of chemistry he had in Cleveland."

An accurate assessment by a veteran pro player who had a similiar situation with him and Vince Carter playing in Toronto and that's why he knows that it will not work because him and Vince Carter never won many games and make the playoffs.
Two players with similiar games who both need the basketball at all times who play both either point and shooting guard with no physical games down low in the paint for scoring and rebounds where Lebron James at 6'8' and 260 pounds, should be playing down low among the big guys down low but doesn't have the physical skill and ability (no game with his back to the basket or go to move) to do so and it's too late to change his game which would allow Wade to control the ball in the front court and shoot/distribute but Lebron won't go for that.
Plus with McGrady's comment, it's clear that the entire league is laughing at them knowing that they can't beat the top teams in the league and struggle with everyone else.
And let's not forget their egos and how embrassased they are right now with the "The Decision" and all the hoopla after party down in Miami with the Heat fans...Remember this..."not one, not two, not three, not four, not five, not six, not seven".....This is why the players and fans are laughing at them....They dug that hole with all that bullshit before they even played a game and now that hole is getting deeper since their are dysfunctional on the court and now that the coach is being questioned for their terrible playon the court and GM Pat Riley's name is floating around to replace the current coach, then it becomes a possible fued between Wade and LeBron.
And what the problem with that? Miami Heat, Dwayne Wade and coach Spolstra were fine last year making the playoffs last year with Coach Spolstra and now that "The King" shows up and things don't work, LeBron want him gone and Dwayne Wade doesn't?
And Chris Bosh? He just there for the beer.
Pat Riley, remain GM and keep Spolstra as coach since he's not the problem, but the "Big" Three on the court are.
