Boxing fans eager to see the only professional championship fight that really matters, Floyd "Money" Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao, may have to give of the dream of seeing the world's two finest fighters square off.
Although Pacquiao seems to get better with each performance in the ring, Mayweather's best boxing achievements are fading into distant memories because his legal problems have sent him into a spiral.
Mayweather's latest woe came last night when the boxer was arrested on the Las Vegas strip for an outstanding warrant after a November clash with a security guard who Mayweather allegedly poked in the eye.
Mayweather was released from the Clark County Detention Center Friday afternoon on $33,000 bail, according to ESPN reports.
Police said Mayweather was issued two parking tickets by the security guard. Mayweather confronted the guard and struck him in the face and poked him in the eye.
Other officers attempted to question Mayweather about the incident, but he refused to open the door to his home.
That's a fine way for the best boxer in the world to carry himself -- hiding from police behind a closed door.
It might as well have been Pacquiao knocking on the door considering the way Mayweather has been ducking the Filipino champion over the past few years.
Mayweather faces six months in jail if convicted.
And don't forget Mayweather is still facing a domestic battery charge for allegedly beating up his former girlfriend, Josie Harris, in front of their kids in September.
At this point, it might be time for Mayweather to forget about all in-ring pursuits and concentrate on getting his life back on track.

WHEN ARE OUR CELEBRITIES GOING TO START CONDUCTING THEMSELVES IN A REPECTABLE MANNER. WHEN YOU START EARNING MILLIONS OF DOLLARS IT IS TIME TO CHANGE SOME OF THE THINGS YOU USED TO DO. YOU KNOW THERE ARE PEOPLE OUT THERE TRYING WHATEVER THEY CAN TO GET INTO YOUR POCKETS, ALWAYS HAVE YOUR GUARD UP WTIH THE WAY YOU RE-ACT TO SITUATIONS.

When are you people gonna wake up? Mayweather will not do a day's time behind any of this Bull-Sh--! The news media are the ones playing it all up! Like they always do, for instance he is charged with stealing a cell phone, a phone that he bought and paid for with the incident with his ex, the Security guard, if he did poke him in the eye accidently, is a simple assualt charge at best, many people get n the face of all types of law- enforcement arguing with them over a ticket every single day, it comes with the damn job. I'm speaking from experience as a police officer also. Why? Ask yourself are they blowing this one so far out of proportion! Not saying he had the right to put his hands on anybody at all if he did but just saying get real he will not be doing any hard core 20 to 30 yrs time like i have read in some articles about ths lately. It's just the news media trying to get you to read there stuff wake-up!

Good article Mr. Shepard. You wrote it just like Willie Lynch Instincts taught you to. Then again, if you're not Black, you wrote it just like your "Negro Scavenging" relatives taught you to.
What's the secret here in the slave-built U.S. Why is it in their illegitimately established nation ("stolen" land, Black Backs), the Building Fathers of this nation are always denigrated by the select few, media controlling Slavocracy benefactors?
I guess Jewish and European folks prove "white supremacy" is no myth? Or, that ENVY is the same as having a natural born, arch enemy.

Mayweather is not a intelligent man, he lacks insight on how to conduct himself in todays society. Money has ruined his senses to the point where he thinks he is above others. After his lawyers, the courts, and those he has offended get through with him he more than likely will be glad to get in the ring with pac-man just for the money.
