He's already returned twice to the NBA after multiyear hiatuses, but could Charlotte Bobcats owner Michael Jordan, who turns 48 on Thursday, return once again?
Jordan, who last played in 2003, joined the team's practice last week, fueling speculation that he might try another comeback, especially after his Hall of Fame induction speech in September 2009, when he said, "One day you may look up and see me playing a game at 50. Don't laugh. Never say never."
If Jordan returned, he would become the oldest player in NBA history and more than 20 years older than the average player in the league (26.8 years). While a player of Jordan's age would seem susceptible to frequent injuries over the course of an 82-game season, the Bobcats have already played 56 games. And given that they're ninth in the Eastern Conference, adding the greatest basketball player of all time -- even if he's half the player he used to be and only plays in every other game -- would probably boost ticket sales and bolster the Bobcats' chances of making the playoffs.

Quote: "Michael Jordan, who last played in 2003, joined the team's practice last week, fueling speculation that he might try another comeback."
That's a lie because the only reason that he joined his team's practice was due to the fact that the Bobcats needed players to fill out the third team/squad for practice due to player injuries and he decided to practice with his team based on that.
And the ESPN guys picked up on that and started a running joke....And that's where you probably got it from...Watching ESPN.
Seriously, stop trying to lead your readers, spin bullshit and false gossip just to post a credible story.

Stop word play manipulations to make up a story about Michael Jordan's return as player to support a none story. There was a story there which you could have reported.

Childish dreams? I bet you still look at Oprah. I guess Oprah should have quit her show after the tenth or 15th year? What about all of those blk female actresses over 40? Should they put away their childishness and go home and live off whatever money they have? What a loser. These people can do whatever they want, whenever they want, because it is their lives--not dreams. Go Mike.

Let's remember that today's 50 is the new 40.
In Jordon's case, it is the new 28.9.
Forever forward, MJ

Taylor stop listening to what the world says about whats the new this, or whats in style now. the world can't help you in the end... like men can't save a woman when its all over on earth.
Michael Jordon need to keep his rusty-dusted ass away from basket ball, before he end up crackin something.some people dont know when to quit it.
i guess his business isn't doing all that and he's getting bored now.

Once again ooozzzzz has taken it's foot out of it's mouth and stuck it in again. If Mike want to play for a team that he owns at 48 years of age it would be great. It would be something that most retired basketball players with a ton of money wouldn't even dream of. So, "Z" shut the hell up and go back to sleep.

Lol Zulu... FriggN ooozzzzz is so annoying. Someone once told him that more is better, so he continually blog on and on and on. One short paragraph usually sums up his entire rant.
